Green Book looks like a colour-swap version of Driving Miss Daisy, as working-class Italian-American bouncer Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen) becomes the driver for African-American classical pianist Don Shirley (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse‘s Mahershala Ali) on a tour of venues through the 1960s American South.

Green Book is released in the UK on February 8th, and given that January/February is the dumping ground for non-Oscar/BAFTA movies, that shows how bad this will be.

Director: Peter Farrelly
Also stars: Linda Cardellini, Don Stark, PJ Byrne, Brian Stepanek, Sebastian Maniscalco, Iqbal Theba
