Happy Gilmore 2 is the long-awaited Netflix sequel to Adam Sandler’s cult hockey-golfer comedy Happy Gilmore (1996). Adam Sandler returns as the titular character, joined by original co-stars Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, and Ben Stiller, plus new cast members like singer Bad Bunny.
In the film, Happy attempts to revive his golf career as a new, strange adventure unfolds.
The official trailer (below) shows Happy’s trademark comedic slapstick and over-the-top golf antics, teasing the new challenges and characters in his return to the sport.
Netflix will premiere Happy Gilmore 2 on July 25th 2025.
