Last Man on Earth is a short pre-apocalypse sci-fi thriller about a team of virologists searching for a cure to cancer. It’s a film about decisions and their consequences. A story about the future told in the present day. And as their Indiegogo fundraiser page states, “We can’t say too much more. Sorry. It’d spoil it.” 🙂
Created by Manchester-based Alt Angle Films, they’re a team of award-winning filmmakers whose work has been shown at film festivals right across the world. They’re big fans of innovative genre and all hugely focused on storytelling, and believe films are made by teams of people not by individuals.
In backing the film, which just has five days left to run and, at the time of posting it’s just a grand short of reaching its target of £10,000, the perks of this fundraiser include autographed scripts, personalised T-shirts and you could even play a role in the film alongside Colin Baker! (above)
There’s also a copy of the finished DVD or Bluray, an exclusive digital download of some original concept artwork and on-set interviews, a digital copy of the shooting script, a private link to the finished film, a thanks in the end credits and a private link to an exclusive behind the scenes featurette.
There’s also a printed copy of the screenplay available signed by Colin Baker, himself, as well as a personalised video message from The Sixth Doctor!
All fundraising options will also include a donation to cancer research charities The Christie and Cancer Research UK.
