Lost in the Sun tells the story of John (Josh Duhamel), a small time crook, who finds an unlikely accomplice in Louis (Josh Wiggins), a newly-orphaned teenage boy. As their open-road adventure progresses and John drags the kid on a string of robberies, the pair forge an unexpected and powerful bond.
That’s a rather simplistic billing for what looks like a promising and intriguing drama with Josh Duhamel looking like he’s heading into Powers Boothe-style mean and moodyness, and a film which won’t outstay its welcome at a brisk 95 minutes.
The film also stars Lynn Collins and Emma Fuhrmann and is written and directed by Trey Nelson.
Lost in the Sun is released in the UK on February 17th 2016.
