This week’s Movie Charts UK and US week ending December 25th 2016 and January 1st 2017 are as follows… but just by way of explanation first, only one for January 1st 2017 was done for the UK, which is below, while both were done for the US. I was expecting a UK one to come out first for the latter before posting. That said, in the US, Passengers had a budget of $110m and bombed with an opening weekend of just $15m, while Assassins Creed fared worse as it had a budget of $125m and amassed an opening weekend of just $10m! There will be no sequel, clearly!
