I first heard this on ‘Later with Jools Holland’. It’s an outstanding track, and one of the best singles of2005 so far as it emulates the sound of those dour ’80s singles perfectly from start to finish. In fact,it reminds me most of the style of Real Life’s late-’80s classic, “Send Me An Angel”, which came on amulti-coloured 12″ vinyl.
Like the ’80s? Miss this one at your peril!

I thought she was going to do something – i.e. “Do one” when she released her greatest hits album, anddisappear for a while to enjoy the chav lifestyle with her alleged husband?

They lost it when they released the dire “Have a Nice Day”, following on from the excellent “Mr Writer”.Since then all that’s happened was they lost Rod Liddle as their drummer.
This new single is so bland and dull it’s untrue.
