Because they used this track for the opening of the Rugby World Cup 1999, butthat’s not because I hate rugby at the best of times, but because for such aprestigious event watched by millions of people… THEY MIMED IT !
6 Buffalo Tom:Liam Gallagher and Steve Cradock – Going Underground:CarnationObviously charting high because of its Oasis link, but the one thing I have toask is “Why?” because his track just sounds like Oasis doing the Beatles badly. 1 Christina Aguilera – Genie in a Bottle *2nd Week at No.1*It missed the Top 40 on its first release, but a bit of promotion works wonders. She’s American, blonde, pretty and like a new Britney Spears, but the song’sas dull as dishwater, unlike La Spears’ debut offering.
This is the 27th single to go straight in at No.1.
If anyone knows of a good site for new release info, please let me know
