Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue – a new Lin-Manuel Miranda musical coming to you, soon!
It starts with… nine bodies being taken to a Mexican morgue, then goes back to eight days earlier, and the plane that everyone’s on is about to run out of fuel… and naturally, not everyone will survive after a plane crash.
But how long before they get rescued? If ever? Or will they forever be ‘Lost’? Either way, at least everyone’s make-up is still on-point.
And it’s a slow-burner, drip-feeding us information, with no members of the cast – including Will & Grace‘s Eric McCormack – really standing out, as along the way, everyone gets to know each other (basically introducing them to us), with one needing urgent medical attention.
Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is all a bit so-so, which explains why, when BBC bought it in, they hung it out to dry on a Saturday night. Still, it’ll get more ratings than Doctor Who, but then so would the test card.
However, there is something else out there, just to add to the ridiculousness…
Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue begins tonight on BBC1 at 9.25pm.
It’s not yet available to pre-order on Blu-ray or DVD, but when it is, it will be listed on the New DVD, Blu-ray, 3D and 4K releases UK page.
