The Complete Fifth Season of Americas No. 1, Emmy® Award-nominated comedy TWO AND A HALF MEN comes to DVD on 13 April 2009 thanks to Warner Home Video.
With an exceptional cast including Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer, original scripting and packed with over an hour of hilarious special features, TWO AND A HALF MEN is a must own comedy series. Created and produced by Lee Aronsohn (The Big Bang Theory) and Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Dharma and Greg) Paramount Comedys No. 1 show continues to shine as it follows the dysfunctional family life of The Harpers. You can also catch the next series when it returns to television on 6 April with a double bill.
Season Five continues with plenty more painstakingly funny stories surrounding the lives of the two brothers, their son/nephew and the many women who surround them all. Jake’s (Angus T. Jones, The Rookie) inevitable progress into puberty continues to bring new challenges for himself and everyone around him as he prepares for Junior High School and he learns the rules to dating. Charlies (Sheen, Spin City, Platoon) womanising continues to get him into trouble and Alan (Jon Cryer, Hot Shots! Pretty in Pink) learns a secret about the sex life of his deeply neurotic ex-wife Judith (Marin Hinkle, Once and Again, Without a Trace).
The series also sees the brothers prepare for the wedding of their narcissistic, emotionally toxic mother, Evelyn (Holland Taylor, The Truman Show) and sees the return of Rose, Charlies lovable stalker and Mia, Charlies former fiancée. If this was not enough George Eads (CSI) makes a cameo appearance as a CSI team investigates a puzzling death at Charlies house.
TWO AND A HALF MEN is a sharp comedy about two brothers and a son, as well as the crazy and charismatic women who surround them. Every episode is a side-splittingly funny story of parenthood, friendship, sex, dating, sibling relations and most importantly, love. Packed with hilarious escapades and not forgetting the occasional guest appearance TWO AND A HALF MEN is a must-have DVD for any fan of comedy. Take your seat on the sofa this spring and expect to stay there as the series is releasing on DVD on 13 April 2009.
