CHILLER TRILOGY – House of 1000 Corpses/ Monster Man/ Tattoo

Rob Zombie’s directorial debut HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES relishes in all the blood-soaked ‘70s horror film culture that spawned The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes. A group of teenagers encounter a crazed carney keeper before their gleefully twisted journey leads them to the ultimate family from Hell. With the sequel, The Devil’s Rejects under his belt, Zombie is now cranking up the chill factor on a remake of Hallowe’en.

Highway hijinks turn into a ride for your life in the deliciously gross MONSTER MAN. KILLER TRIPLE – Ed Gein/ Bundy/ Hillside Strangler

A trilogy of real-life serial killers stalk and slash their way through this boxset.

Dwelling in a sleepy Wisconsin town in 1950s, Gein lives a quiet, lonely existence after the death of his domineering, bible-bashing mother. Her puritanical thoughts haunt him beyond the grave leading to indulge in darker deeds against promiscuous women. BUNDY, a charming seducer with boy-next-door looks and college education, has everything going for him but he has a more disturbing, murderous side to satisfy. With no apparent motivation, Ted Bundy became one of the most notorious serial killers on 1970s, confessing to killing at least 30 women. Matthew Bright directs with a darkly comical flavour, with TV regular Michael Kelly Burke taking the lead, with Botti Bliss (TV’s CSI: Miami) won over by his charms.
