The crumpled detective is an unlikely choice for a crime solving genius, but his ability to methodically solve seemingly impossible cases is what makes him so addictive to watch. The box set includes six feature length episodes including Undercover, Strange Bedfellows, A Trace of Murder, Ashes to Ashes, Murder with too Many Notes and Columbo Likes the Nightlife.

- 1.Columbos killer catchphrase is Just one more thing… which he uses to catch the killers off guard at the end of each show.
- 2.The killer is always revealed at the beginning of each show bucking the trend set by other detective shows.
- 3.Columbo often refers to his wife Mrs Columbo; however she has never been seen on screen leaving fans to speculate as to her actual existence.
- 4.Mrs Columbo was actually made into a TV series in the late 70s which won its lead a Golden Globe®. However many fans argue that the series was not linked in anyway and the character was married to another detective who happened to be called Columbo.
- 5.Columbo prefers to drive his 1959 Peugeot 403 convertible.
