Taking Liberties is a documentary charting the alleged destruction of the six central pillars of liberty(right to protest, right to freedom of speech, right to privacy, right not to be detained without charge, innocentuntil proven guilty and prohibition from torture) under ten years of New Labour.
Released to coincide with Tony Blair’s departure, the film follows the stories of normal people whose lives havebeen turned upside down by injustice – from being arrested for holding a placard outside parliament to beingtortured in Guantanamo Bay.
Taking Liberties is out on October 15th on DVD for £15.99.
