The season kicks off when student Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider during a lab experiment which sees him acquire strange new super powers. After his Uncle Ben is murdered, Peter Parker decides to put his super powers to good use by creating a crime-fighting alias, otherwise known as the web-slinging Spider-Man.

Peter Parker’s new job at the local newspaper becomes treacherous after his boss, J. Jonah Jameson is kidnapped, forcing Spider-Man to confront the evil criminal, Kingpin. In order to boost his social status at school, Peter Parker mischievously uses his spider powers to get a place on the school football team. However, he finds his plans in disarray when the wicked Sky Master kidnaps the school’s star quarterback.

Fighting those who seek to cause chaos and abuse the good nature of the innocent people of New York, can Peter Parker accept the loss of his uncle and adapt to his new role as the city’s new crime-fighting superhero?
