Michael Crawford returns as the ever eager Frank Spencer and continues to havea little bit of trouble and a lot of harassment with everything he does in thefinal series of the classic BBC sitcom Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em.The complete third series of the hugely popular and hilarious 1970s comedy,will be available on VHS and DVD for the first time from Second Sight on 19thMay 2003.
Containing six memorable and very funny episodes, disaster strikes again forthe accident-prone Frank when he decides to turn his hand to DIY in his new home.As usual everything he touches falls apart so it’s no surprise that things thenget a little out of hand when he later enrols on a woodwork course in order tobuild Jessica a doll’s house.
Later in the series, first reserve Frank is called up for a Scottish Dancingexhibition and inevitably puts on quite a display! Enthusiastic Frank is alsoready to take to the stage when one of the ugly sisters pulls out of a localhospital’s production of Cinderella.
When he then takes on a new job as a despatch rider, no-one is safe on the roadsas Frank has a little trouble with a sticky throttle.
Finally deciding that life might be easier down under, Frank and Betty areencouraged to emigrate when Frank’s Australian grandfather pays them a visit.But first he must get through the interview and prove that he can offersomething other than chaos to the country’s unsuspecting inhabitants!
