The eightEggos (plus five secret ones!), catch blocks, rotate them, and use them tobuild towers on the little islands. Their aim is to escape the rising waterand be the first to reach the hot air balloon that hovers in the sky. Tocomplicate matters, tower-tumbling and thieving enemies prowl the depths andsoar the skies, looking for ways to drown your spirit – so work quickly asthe wild race has already began.
You can play Eggo Mania head-to-head with friends or against acomputer-controlled opponent in single player mode. The seven game mode includesa solo high score test, a multi-player tournament, a race against the clockand a weapons only battle in bomb mode.
The Main mode is the basic challenge Eggo V’s Eggo – the player has to beateight opponents to win the game. Both Eggo’s build their towers to reach thegoal in the upper part of the screen. There are two levels of difficulty, ‘OverEasy’ for beginners and ‘Hard Boiled’ for experts. In the tournament modeplayers compete in a knockout contest. Beat the time and scores in the solomode and wreck your opponents tower in bomb mode. Plus the gamer can configurethe game with their own exact requirements in the custom game mode.
Next to the opponent player, many monsters try to steal blocks or force yourEggo into the water. The player can be caught in gas bubbles or attacked bybees, birds and hungry fish. If you can stay nimble on your feet and use yourpieces wisely, you’ll earn handy power-ups to aid your construction and hindera rival Eggo’s progress. Uncover the innovative power-up items like the superboots – to jump higher, magic mix filler, bombs and hammers to damage theopponents towers plus a thunderstorm to knock your opponent into the water.
