Having recruited all the old faces – C.J., Joan, Tony, David, Doc Morrisey andJimmy – Reggie opens ‘Perrins’ and welcomes his one and only guest.
Following an advertising campaign with slogans such as “I didn’t get where Iam today without knowing that ‘Perrins’ is the best thing since sliced bread”,things then pick up slightly when the the guest list of one doubles.
As business finally begins to boom, and worry, tension and irritability seemto be a thing of the past, Reggie starts to relax. But for how long?
Things start to take a downward turn when money and jewellery begin disappearingand a female guest starts suggesting extra curricular activity with the malestaff. When McBlane the cook then attacks a woman from the Salvation Army witha meat cleaver and there’s a backlash against ‘Perrins’ by a certain elementin the community unimpressed by his ‘Peacekeeping Force’, it looks like it it’sall over.
As ‘Perrins’ closes its doors and everyone says their goodbyes, Reggie isoffered a new job but is shocked to then find himself not only working forC.J. again but also his brother F.J.! Could the Dorset coast be calling oncemore?
