THQ Announces Release Of MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 For Xbox andXbox Live As May 16th
THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) have announced that MotoGP: Ultimate RacingTechnology 2 will start at the front of the grid when it is released forXbox and Xbox Live! on 16th May. The two-wheeled wonder has won highpraise scoring top marks across the computer gaming media and is expectedto be one of the biggest performers for the Xbox to date.
Developed by Brighton-based Climax, MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2offers Xbox and Xbox Live players eight rubber-burning racing modesincluding stunt, GP, time trial, training challenges, tag, Live andmulti-player. All this is parked alongside 16 real-world tracks, all ofthe 500cc bikes and riders from the 2002 MotoGP series, an intuitive,arcade-style control system for the hardcore racing fan, customisablebikes and the option for budding racers to design their very ownpersonalised bike livery.
MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 really comes into its element whenplayed on Xbox Live, where players will be able to create custom ridersand race them online at a helmet-boggling 60 frames per second with up to16 riders on one track during a single race. Players can also useMicrosofts online voice communication to talk banter with the nearestcompetitor at speeds that will make their voices crack and their kneestremble.
