FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ON DVD
The mother of all womens prison dramas and the original Bad Girls will bebreaking out of local DVD stockists in the run up to this Christmas with therelease of the legendary PRISONER CELL BLOCK H in DVD format for the firsttime.
Whats more theres no remission as the release is a special triple disc DVDdigipack which means you can be banged up with the girls and warders for over9 hours (if you can take it!). This release contains 12 of the best everPrisoner episodes covering the most memorable events to take place at theWentworth Detention Centre for Women. Fans new and old can re-acquaintthemselves with Bea Smith (played by Val Lehman), the original prison top dog.
The Australian drama was originally scheduled for just 20 episodes, but wassuch a hit from its first airing that it ended up running for eight yearsclocking up a total of 692 episodes! It was aired for the first time in theUK on ITV in 1987.
