Nintendo¹s stylish handheld console, the Game Boy Advance SP has achievedfantastic sales across Europe, making it the Œmust have¹ gadget for Europeangamers. To mark this occasion Nintendo is launching two brand new coloursfor the Game Boy Advance SP. As of 24th October the console will beavailable in stores across Europe in Arctic Blue and Flame Red.

Since hitting shops all over Europe on 28th March 2003, the Game Boy AdvanceSP has shipped over 1 million across Europe. The console has already enjoyedworldwide success, with shipment figures in both Japan and the US reachingover 1 million, and it is now hitting record figures in Europe too. GameBoy Advance SP continues the success of the ŒGame Boy family¹, which hassold over 150 million units worldwide since its introduction in 1989.

Infamous for pioneering the genre of handheld gaming, from the very firstGame & Watch games of the 1980s to the hugely successful Game Boy Advancelaunched in 2001, Nintendo has given the console a completely new, ultrastylish design to appeal to the most style conscious consumers of handheldtechnology worldwide. The Game Boy Advance SP is a truly pocket-sizedgadget, with a flip-top screen and integrated front screen light, plus arechargeable lithium battery similar to those found in mobile phones,offering gamers over 10 hours of continuous illuminated game-play. Thereare currently over 300 Game Boy Advance games available with an additional50 being released in 2003.

The arctic blue and flame red Game Boy Advance SP will launch across Europeon 24th October and will be priced at around 129-139 Euros.
