The final eleven episodes of the first series (1.13 – 1.23) about to be released,are once again set on ‘the strip’ and burrow into the dark world of crime and murderthat isn’t ever what it first seems. This fast paced rock n’ roll series takes afresh angle on murder mystery drama with its Hollywood production values and astonishing camera shots. Theviewer is treated to a bullet-path ride through the crime, the crime scene and the cadaveras the dynamic team comb, meticulously through the evidence.

A serial bomber, skeletons in the desert, a male stripper, mob hits and call girls are allin a days work for Grissom and the team whose individual scientific skills coupled with a sixthsense attempt to complete the crime jigsaw that is one of many pieces.

The criminalistics squad are a tight team whose personal life-clues are occasionally dropped forthe armchair super sleuth to put under the microscope. Gil Grissom, whose seething hidden depthsand dispassionate exterior indicates a mystery far darker and deeper than a DNA test would reveal,heads a crack team of co-workers: Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) former stripper andsingle mother, Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan) a volatile gambler who has a passion towin, Nick Stokes (George Eads) a slick investigator with an eye for the ladies,Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) outspoken and outlandish and Greg (Eric Szmanda) the younglab hotshot. Yet they are all united in the search for the truth and their battlewith the Captain Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) the gruff Police Chief from homicide division.
