The “DVDs and Movies” category within QXL.com,is fast becoming the mostactive category within the auction site. Up to 300 DVD auctions are hosted aday, from Sci-Fi and Fantasy to Cult Shows and Comedy.
Many of the auctions are created by individual sellers who are trading in thefilms they have seen, so that they may buy other titles from the QXL community.
Whilst sellers are encouraged to write a full description of their DVD title,bidders are crying out for more information; “What are the special effectslike? Are the extra scenes worth seeing? How is the sound quality?”
QXL is holding an auction to find a DVD critic for the site.The auction will be held from 17th to 31st July. The winning bidder will receivean Encore 450 multi region DVD player, and a current DVD title a week1 to reviewfor the “DVDs and Movies” Category within QXL.com.
“DVDs are fast becoming the home entertainment necessity. QXL is the placefor DVD fans, we have all the titles, from the latest releases to the classics,and at great prices. What we need now is an independent DVD critic, someone thatcan be the voice of our DVD trading community.” said Phil Argent,Entertainment Category Manager for QXL.com.
