It’s here! Nintendo GameCube has officially arrived in Europe, and as theclock struck 12 midnight on May 3rd thousands of people shuffled forward tobecome the proud owner of Nintendo’s ground-breaking new games console. Addingto the huge pre-order sales, European retailers opened at midnight to givededicated video games fans the opportunity to be the first to own NintendoGameCube.



500,000 units of Nintendo GameCube will be available for launch day acrossEurope, with a total of 1 million pieces for the first eight weeks. The consoleis supported by the biggest and most impressive line-up of games ever seen fora console launch, with over 20 software titles from today that will extend toover 50 titles available by the summer. The Nintendo GameCube will alsoretail at the best price for a console launch ever at €199.

Combining the best graphics, technical brilliance and entertaining gameplay, theNintendo GameCube will offer a mix that will please everyone from the occasionalplayer to the dedicated gamers.
