Pokémon makes its debut on Game Boy Advance with Pokémon Ruby &Pokémon Sapphire

Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire launch across Europe on 25th July 2003, andthis time those feisty Pokémon are in full vivid colour, and accompanied by aclear crisp soundtrack, all enabled by the very best in hand held gamingtechnology, the Game Boy Advance.
Fans in both Japan and America have been snapping up the games in their eagernessto be the best Pokémon Trainer ever, with more than 4.4 million copies of thegames being shipped in Japan and more than 2.2 million games already shippedto North American retailers.
