Over 300,000 copies of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Wakerhave been sold across Europe over the first weekend on sale, as Link¹slatest adventure makes its stunning debut on NINTENDO GAMECUBE. Demand forthis eagerly awaited adventure has seen consumers snap up what is thefastest selling title to date on NINTENDO GAMECUBE.

As a result of the success of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, NINTENDOGAMECUBE hardware sales across Europe have more than tripled.

With awesome graphics, enchanting storylines and superb quality game-play,Nintendo¹s The Legend of Zelda games have become all-time console favouritesand The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is no different.

Nintendo anticipate more units to be shipped to retail by the end of nextweek and are working hard to satisfy the huge demand from consumers.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is exclusive to the NINTENDO GAMECUBEand launched on 3rd May 2003 at the estimated retail price of around 60euros.

Limited edition copies of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker include abonus disk containing two additional NINTENDO GAMECUBE games: The Legend ofZelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time MasterQuest.
