The Pokémon summer tour is finally here and coming to a town near you.
The Pokémon / Vimto dome will be touring the country with a variety ofgoodies as we gear up to the launch of Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire onFriday July 25th at Toys R Us, Solihull, Birmingham.
The tour will launch on the 19th July at Toys R Us, Brent Cross with a veryspecial guest and will then begin the tour of the country.
As well as the chance to enter the dome, goodie bags containing thefollowing will be available for every child who attends one of the dates andgoes through the Pokémon dome:
- Exclusive ltd edition Pokémon / Vimto Game Boy Advance carry case
- Exclusive Nintendo Off Mag mini Pokémon magazine
- Can of delicious Vimto
And on top of that at the Toys R Us dates kids will also be able to pick upvouchers for special deals in store.
Look out for a further announcement detailing the celebrities who will bepresent at the Brent Cross and Solihull dates.
QUENCH YOUR THIRST FOR POKéMON WITH VIMTO!
This summer Nintendo has teamed up with leading drinks brand Vimto to bringa fantastic roving world of Pokémon to kids the length & breadth of the UK.
From Saturday 19th July, Nintendo and Vimto will be touring the country withthe exclusive Pokémon Live 2003 unleashed by Vimto¹ roadshow visitingbranches of Toys R¹ Us, Tesco & Asda. The roadshow is a massive dome withthemed zones containing the ultimate mobile Pokémon world. The roadshowwill attract Pokéfans by the thousand, all keen to experience the brand newPokémon Ruby & Pokémon Sapphire games on the Game Boy Advance first hand andwash down the experience with a can of Vimto!
Fans in both Japan and America have been snapping up the games in theireagerness to be the greatest Pokémon Trainer ever, with more than 4.4million copies of the games shipped in Japan and more than 2.2 million gamesalready shipped to North American retailers. The UK is now bracing itselffor the impending Pokémon storm!
Pokémon fans should also look out for special promotional packs of Vimto fora chance to win stacks of gaming prizes including two exclusive trips to NewYork, rounded off with a trolley dash at the world famous Pokémon Center NY.
Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire are the first games in the hugely popularseries to appear on the Game Boy Advance. They are packed with new featuresand over 100 brand new Pokémon to collect. The games are available in the UKon 25th July 2003 priced at around £30-£35 each.
