60’s Britain: Carnaby Street, The Beatles, hot pants and… THE ITALIAN JOB.

Arguably the greatest British film ever made, THE ITALIAN JOB will beappearing on a Sony Playstation near you on 5th October, courtesy of SCiEntertainment.

Staying true to the Michael Caine classic, you play the legendary CharlieCroker, just out of jail and right back on the make. THE ITALIAN JOB is amission based driving game that has you attempting to pull off the heist ofthe century; $4 million in gold bars, just there for the taking!

To pull this off, you’ll have to:

  • Gather your gang in 1960’s London
  • Motor off to Turin, set up the traffic jam, and make off with the bullion.
  • Dodge the police AND The Mafia, as you attempt to escape through the Swiss Alps (grabbing the gold was the easy part!)
  • Make use of all the vehicles from the film including the Austin Mini Cooper S, Land Rover and the famous bus

If you don’t feel up to the main job immediately, try one of the other gamingmodes. Take a spin through swingin’ 60’s London in a Lambroghini Miura -Piccadilly looks even more impressive at 90 mph! Or why not practice thosescreaming handbrake turns and 50 foot roof-top jumps on the stunt coursechallenge?

Mr. Bridger is getting impatient and time’s wasting, so get your skates on,mate, for the biggest game to hit the Playstation in 2001!

REMEMBER – You’re only supposed to buy the bloody game!
