With the forthcoming release of CONFLICT: DESERT STORM,SCi Games’ eagerly anticipated multi-format stealth action title, just aroundthe corner, SCi Games’ has started the media ball rolling by going live with anew website packed full of interactive features.
CONFLICT: DESERT STORM is the first release in SCi Games’ new CONFLICTrange, and was introduced to the gaming public at this year’s E3 conference inLA, where it gained huge interest from the gaming community.Conflict.com,takes you into the CONFLICT world and gives you a glimpse into one of the mosteagerly anticipated games of this year.
On the site, you can interrogate ex-SAS commando, best selling author and consultantfor the game, Cameron Spence, about how the game compares to his own first handexperiences of desert warfare. Spence also shares his personal photo album fromthe Gulf War, offering over 25 slides detailing Sabre Squadron’s actual missionand involvement in the Gulf War.
You can also win a trip for 2 to Pivotal Games, the developers behind CONFLICT: DESERT STORMwhere you can get an exclusive behind the scenes look and a chance to play thegame before it hits the shelves in September. There are loads of downloads availableincluding desktop wallpaper, development sketches and a trailer. You can alsofind out about the characters, equipment, vehicles and some of the weapons thatwill be available in the game and what sort of comments the gaming press arealready giving.
