Set 6 years after the original film, the latest instalment centres around ahigh school senior who has a premonition of a fatal roller coaster accidentinvolving herself and all her friends. When the premonition proves true,those who have “cheated death” and survived the accident are forced to dealwith the repercussions of escaping their fate.
Directed by James Wong (X-Files), the horror-thriller stars Ryan Merriman,Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kris Lemche and Alex Johnson.
DAWN OF THE DEAD IIThe remake to George Romero’s original, directed by Zack Snyder, has beengiven a sequel. The second part will continue the action from where thefirst movie left off, with director Steve Miner (Friday 13th Part II & III)at the helm! PREDATOR – THE REMAKEYes, seriously. It appears attempts to get Predator 3 greenlit continue toflounder – even given renewed interested after Alien Vs Predator – but aremake of John McTiernan’s original could be on the way!
Apparently WWE wrestler John Cena is apparently up for the lead role,originally played by Arnold Schwazenegger.
ERAGONDirected by Stefen Fangmeier, the 15 December 2006 release stars EdSpeleers, John Malkovich, Jeremy Irons, Djimon Hounsou, Robert Carlyle,Sienna Guillory and Garrett Hedlund.
The film is based on the Christopher Paolini-penned bestselling fantasynovel about a youth whose discovery of a dragon egg leads him to become aknight and battle an evil king. The medieval-set tale revolves around a farmboy who learns he is the last of a breed of benevolent Dragon Riders, whosemagical powers derived from their bond with the beasts.
FansiteShur’tugalhad scanned and posted a fold-out promo for Eragon thatappeared in ‘Variety’. In addition to the previously-seen images from theofficial website, the fold-out included an entire page of pictures of thecast members in character. The images are not online at present, but checkthe site again shortly as they’re aiming to get more online soon.
RAMBO IVSylvester Stallone has Rocky VI off the ground, and now his Rambo franchisecould get a third sequel, too!
