Pick of the week: BAD BOYS II
BAD BOYS II will street on December 9. The package will feature 2 discsof extras complete with anamorphic widescreen (2.40:1) and fullscreentransfers.
- Pick of the week: I don’t know if this film is anything worth a pick ofthe week but it’s the only one I’m half interested in.
GIGLI (pause for laughter) will street on December 9. The package willspan 4 discs and have such insightful extrsa like audio commentary byBennifer, and an interview with the one person who liked the film-theproducer…JUST KIDDING! The disc will actually only have anamorphicwidescreen (2.40:1) and fullscreen transfers…no extras.
- Excitement Factor: 1 out of 10. I’m curious beyond belief to see thisfilm.
DISNEY
January 6 will see the release of the following titles:CIAO,PROFESSORE!, GET BRUCE!, I’VE HEARD MERMAIDS SINGING, THE INNOCENT, THELITTLE TWINS: THE MAGIC OF GIVING, THE LOVERS OF THE BRIDGE,MICROCOSMOS, MOONDANCE, REVENGE OF THE MUSKETEERS, RIDICULE, SONATINE,STRAWBERRY & CHOCOLATE, TALK OF ANGELS, TORENTS OF SPRING, and UNZIPPED.No extras or specs have been announced.
- Excitement Factor: 0 out of 10. Haven’t heard of any of these.
February 3 will see the release of the following titles:IN THE ARMYNOW, FIRE BIRDS, HAWK’S VENGEANCE, MASK OF DEATH, PERFECT HARMONY, THERAGE, RUBY BRIDGES, SELMA LORD SELMA, WELCOME TO SARAJEVO. No extras orspecs have been announced.
- Excitement Factor: 0 out 10. Two words: Pauly Shore…
FOX
THE SHIELD: SEASON TWO and LOST IN SPACE: SEASON ONE will street onJanuary 6, 2004.
- Excitement Factor: 7 out of 10. Lost in Space is a definite choice.
ARTISAN
December 9 will see the quadruple release of DIRTY DANCING: ULTIMATEEDITION. Specs were announced but it’s Artisan so I’m not going tobother promoting it than I already have.
- Excitment Factor: 0 out of 10. Anything out the gate from Artisan thesedays is garbage to me.
RUMOURS
- JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 is rumored to street on December 23.
