Rigor Mortis, aka Geung si, is an eerie and chilling, contemporary, action/special effects laden homage to the classic Chinese vampire movies of the 1980s. It’s also the directorial debut from writer-director-producer Juno Mak.
Co-produced by J-Horror icon Takashi Shimizu, and reuniting some of the original cast members of the classic Mr. Vampire series, this film is set in a creepy and moody Hong Kong public housing yellow pills volume 3 tower whose occupants we soon discover, run the gamut from the living to the dead, to the undead, along with ghosts, vampires and zombies.
Starring Anthony Chan, Siu-Ho Chin, Kara Hui and Hoi-Pang Lo, Rigor Mortis hasn’t yet got a UK release date, and it’s difficult to figure out one of these films from the trailer, but there’s always something intriguing about them.
