Rogue Flight is a very fun Afterburner-style arcade game – the one with the twisty-turny cabinet that took a great deal of my money back in the day, each chapter opening with some anime-style storytelling.
However, although it’s fun for a while, the problem is that if I die in Chapter 2, it’s a real ballache that I have to wade through Chapter 1 again just to get back to where I was. Why doesn’t it ‘save’ at the start of Chapter 2 and let me continue from there?
There are 9 chapters to the game. If I can’t complete even Chapter 2, I’ve got zero chance of getting to No.9!
Okay, I know that arcade machines will always start from the beginning, but this is made for the home, so should always give you the option to continue from where you left off!
