Romeo Is A Dead Man on PC / Steam – The DVDfever Review

Romeo Is A Dead Man Romeo Is A Dead Man that’s easily explained as… well, it isn’t.

The basic premise sees space-time being shattered, while you’re also between life and death, but revived thanks to special technology, and being recruited by the FBI, sorting out baddies and bringing justice back to the world.

Well, something like that, since in reality, you just head from location to location killng everyone and everything, killing aplenty – although while in certain places you don’t HAVE to kill all of them, and CAN just run past them, although that reduces the challenge.

On the plus side, I like that when you return for another go at the game, it acts like a superhero movie, as it gives you a “Previously on ‘Romeo Is A Dead Man'” vignette. Oh, and it looks amazing when it works properly, but…

In my second gameplay video, it went absolutely glitchy as fuck during battle scenes – on what is a beast of a PC, and given that this Romeo Is A Dead Man just feels like the same old hack-hack-slash endless gameplay, but with some fancy stuff sprinkled all over, I’m done.

Watch the later battles in the second video and see what I mean

Thanks to our friends at Grasshopper Manufacture Inc for the review code for this game.

Overall: Don’t consider buying until all the glitches are fixed.

Romeo Is A Dead Man is out now on PC/Steam for just a tenner, although there’s a 10% discount at the time of posting, so it’s worth a punt.
