The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards is based on short stories from writer Robert Boswell‘s collection, where seven vignettes explore the difference between fantasy and reality, memory and history, and the joy and agony of the human condition.
Given the number of different stories, there are multiple directors and writers to this movie. However, despite the wide range of actors taking part, this trailer just came across like the same sort of syrupy sweet mush you get from films like Mother’s Day.
The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards is released in the US on October 27th, but as of yet, there’s no UK date.
