The High Note centres around superstar singer Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross) and her overworked personal assistant, Maggie (Dakota Johnson – The Peanut Butter Falcon), who are presented with a choice that could alter the course of their respective careers.
Basically, it’s one of those trailers where you don’t have to watch the film because you know exactly how it’s going to turn out. Maggie reckons her life is a joke becauase no-one appreciates her in her job, and she wants to be a singer as well. Can she also do it? What do you think(!)
The High Note is released in the UK on May 8th.
