The Killing Season 2

The Killing Season 2 starring Sofie Sofie Gråbøl, Nicolas Bro and Charlotte Guldberg, written by Søren Sveistrup

THE PAST WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU

FROM THE BAFTA AWARD WINNING CREATORS OF THE KILLING

Following the BBC broadcast this autumn, 12 December sees the DVD release of The Killing II – one of the most highly anticipated crime-drama series in years. In May, The Killing won a BAFTA AWARD for Best International Television show fending off competition from Mad Men and Martin Scorcese’s Boardwalk Empire.

The brand new 10-part series is once again written by S=F8ren Sveistrup and sees the return of the formidable and tenacious Sarah Lund, superbly played by Sofie Gr=E5b=D8l, who is recalled by Chief Inspector Lennart Brix to investigate a series of murders that will test her to her very limits.

Synopsis:
The emergency services receive a chilling phone call from a distraught man unable to find his wife. Reports later reveal that a woman was stabbed 21 times in a fatal attack, her body found at a National War memorial site in Central Copenhagen. In a video recorded before her murder, she is seen reading a message to the Danish people in which revenge is pledged for the Muslims killed in Afghanistan.

Spread over eleven days, the tightly told story of a complex, highly suspenseful criminal case shakes Denmark’s government and military to their very core.

Say goodbye to your social life once again when The Killing II comes to DVD 12 December.

Complete Boxset extras (see ‘Limited Edition’ link above) include a masterclass from Sofie Gråbøl and producer Piv Bernth.
