The Little Prince is a new movie from Netflix about a little girl (Mackenzie Foy – Interstellar), living in a very grown-up world with her mother (Rachel McAdams – Spotlight), who tries to prepare her for it. Her neighbor, the Aviator (Jeff Bridges – TRON: Legacy), introduces the girl to an extraordinary world where anything is possible.
In this first-ever animated feature film adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry‘s iconic masterpiece, it’s in this world that The Little Girl’s magical and emotional journey into her own imagination – and into the universe of The Little Prince – begins. And it’s where The Little Girl rediscovers her childhood and learns that ultimately, it’s human connections that matter most, and that what’s truly essential can only be seen with the heart.
Directed by Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda), with a screenplay from Irena Brignull and Bob Persichetti, the film also stars Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises), James Franco (The Interview), Benicio Del Toro (Sicario), Ricky Gervais (David Brent: Life on the Road), Bud Cort, Paul Giamatti (Straight Outta Compton), Riley Osborne, Albert Brooks (Finding Dory), Guillaume Canet (The Program), Vincent Cassel (Jason Bourne) and charisma vacuum Paul Rudd (Captain America: Civil War).
