The Prodigy now has a full trailer, and sadly, there’s nothing about the dance group in this, just a load of silly jump scares. Yes, I’m not wowed by this.
Are you?
The Prodigy still doesn’t have a UK release date.

The Prodigy just has a teaser out at the moment, and the old man you see talking the most, looks like he wishes he was Steven Berkoff, but *no-one* can be Steven Berkoff. Only Steven Berkoff can be Steven Ber… you get the idea.
The synopsis states that a mother concerned about her young son’s disturbing behaviour thinks something supernatural may be affecting him, so there’s not a huge amount to go off so far, but this may be worth a look and I’ll await a full trailer in due course.
Just a shame there’s no music from the titular band in there. Who doesn’t love a bit of Firestarter?
The Prodigy is released on February 8th 2019 in the US, but as of yet there’s no UK date.
Director: Nicholas McCarthy
Writer: Jeff Buhler
Stars: Taylor Schilling, Brittany Allen, Colm Feore, Jackson Robert Scott, Peter Mooney, Olunike Adeliyi
