The Professor and the Madman centres around Professor James Murray (Mel Gibson), who begins work compiling words for the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary in the mid 19th century, and receives over 10,000 entries from a patient at Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum, Dr. William Minor (Sean Penn).
It’s a little bit of a strange trailer, but does look intriguing, so I’ll definitely check this out.
The Professor and the Madman hasn’t yet been given a US or UK release date.
