Pick of the week: TERMINATOR 3: THE RISE OF THE MACHINES
TERMINATOR 3: THE RISE OF THE MACHINES will street on November 11 inseperate anamorphic widescreen (2.40:1) and fullscreen versions. Thepackage will be two discs and in an amaray (Warner’s second this year).Extras include audio commentary (one with Schwarznegger), deletedscenes, featurettes and more.
- Excitement Factor: 9 out of 10. Definitely worthy of the Terminatorfranchise and it looks to be a great disc.
THE WEST WING: THE FIRST SEASON will street on November 18. 
- Excitement Factor: 5 out of 10. The show’s great but would you watch itover and over?
TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX
X2: X-MEN UNITED will street on November 25 in seperate anamorphicwidescreen (2.40:1) and fullscreen versions. It will be a two-disc setand chock full of extras including deleted scenes.
- Excitement Factor: 9 out of 10. Geez, talk about waiting forever, allthe other May releases will be out by the time this finally streets. Atleast it’s worth the wait.
COLUMBIA TRISTAR
WHALE RIDER will street on October 28. It willinclude an anamorphic widescreen (1.85:1) transfer and a few extras.
- Excitement Factor: 1 out of 10. Eh, not my bag.
MARRIED WITH CHILDREN: THE FIRST SEASON will street on October 28. Noextras are included in the 2 disc set.
- Excitement Factor: 8 out of 10. A favorite guilty pleasure.
DREAMWORKS
SINBAD AND THE LEGEND OF THE SEVEN SEAS will street on November 18 inseperate anamorphic widescreen (1.85:1) and fullscreen versions. Extrasare plentiful.
- Excitement Factor: 0 out 10. This movie didn’t fail because people don’tlike 2D animation, it’s because it’s a pile of garbage.

- DUMB AND DUMBERER: WHEN HARRY MET LLOYD is rumored to street onNovember 11 to a rabid fan base of 2.
- ADAM SANDLER’S EIGHT CRAZY NIGHTS is rumored to street on November 18,nearly a year after premiering in theaters.
- THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL is rumoredto street on December 2.
- RUGRATS GO WILD is rumored to street on December 9.
- BAD BOYS II, FREAKY FRIDAY and THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMENare rumored to street on December 16.
- LARA CROFT-TOMB RAIDER: THE CRADLE OF LIFE is rumored to street onDecember 23.
- AMERICAN WEDDING is rumored to street on December 30.
- JOHNNY ENGLISH is rumored to street on January 6.
- ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO is not even in theaters but a January 13release seems likely.
- UNDERWORLD is not even in theaters but the date of January 27 is beingthrown around for the DVD.
