Pick of the week: FREDDY VS. JASON
FREDDY VS. JASON will street on January 13th. It will be a 2 disc setcomplete with an anamorphic widescreen transfer (2.35:1), commentaries,deleted scenes, alternate endings, and more.
- Pick of the Week: This movie kicked major ass and it looks to be a greatDVD.
MGM
JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 will street on December 23. The disc will feature ananamorphic widescreen transfer (2.35:1), commentaries, featurettes,deleted scenes, and trailers.
- Excitement Factor: 0 out of 10. This was the example of an unneededsequel, the first film while far from perfect was a good time, this wasjust… “creepily” bad.
COLUMBIA
S.W.A.T. will street on December 30 in seperate anamorphic widescreen(2.35:1) and fullscreen editions. Extras are plentiful includingtrailers, featuretes, deleted scenes, commentaries, and more.
- Excitement Factor: 0 ouf of 10. This was just lousy, it was from thepeople behind ‘xXx’ so that’s probably why.
THE MEDALLION will street on December 23. The disc will feature ananamorphic widescreen transfer (2.35:1) and a worthless fullscreentransfer as well. Extras are low, resulting in a few featurettes and acommentary.
- Excitement Factor: 5 out of 10. This is known as ‘Highbinders’ to mostof you guys, while I didn’t see all of this it looked pretty lousy. I’llgive it a shot on DVD though.
RUMORS
- UNDERWORLD is now rumored to street on January 6th, 2004. Cover arthas been released so an announcement should happen pretty quick (jeez, thisjust came out a month ago).
- OPEN RANGE is rumored to street on January 13th, 2004.
- STAR WARS TRILOGY?: There’s also rumors of a certain space trilogy streeting next year thatsound pretty credible…
