UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e August 27th 2015

UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e August 27th 2015Jess Glynne climbs from No.78 to No.1, in the UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e August 27th 2015, with Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself, and I love a bit of dance music when it’s got piano in it – something that has always happened quite a lot, and Ms Glynne has got a hell of a voice on her, so this is a great track.

As such, Charlie Puth Feat. Meghan Trainor drop from the top slot to No.2 with Marvin Gaye, but god knows why anyone bought this. This alleged song makes me want to scream. Who keeps buying Meghan Trainor songs and why do we have to hear them?

There are no other new entries in the Top 10, but there is a chart entry at No.5 from Martin Solveig & GTA with Intoxicated, climbing from No.108.

Something out soon is a-Ha’s new single, Under The Makeup, taken from their forthcoming album “Cast in Steel”. There’s no official video yet, so here’s a lyric video whipped up by Digster Pop:
