UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e September 10th 2011

UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e September 10th 2011 Going straight in at No.1 this week is Example with Stay Awake and it’s a pretty smart dance track, too, just like their last top slot hit, The Way You Love Me. I hate most of what tops the charts these days, but the majority of those could take a tip or two from Example.

You can see the video here.

As such, X-Factor reject Olly Murs feat. Rizzle Kicks drops to No.3 with Heart Skips A Beat, a bog-standard dance tune featuring the oldest of dance beats. Very uninspiring. Inbetween is Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera climbing from 3 to 2 with Moves Like Jagger.

  • 4 Ed Sheeran – You Need Me, I Don’t Need You
  • 9 Cover Drive – Lick Ya Down
