War for the Planet of the Apes is the third in the rebooted series, and… huh? “Viral video”? I think they mean – “audio clip”.
The plot isn’t yet known, but director Matt Reeves returns after 2014’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (which I still haven’t got round to seeing, but then I was similarly late to the party with the first one). For the record, 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes was directed by Rupert Wyatt (2014’s The Gambler).
As ever, Andy Serkis is back as Caesar, and the rest of the cast includes Judy Greer, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn and Max Lloyd-Jones.
War for the Planet of the Apes is due for release in the UK on July 14th, 2017.
