Of course, there’s always one Christmas leftover that we can do without, and this time it’s a full-length episode for Catherine Tate’s Nan, the very sweary old dear who appeared as part of the actress’ sketch series and was last seen during Children In Need 2013.
If it’s a success, then a full series will be commissioned. Judge for yourself this Saturday at 9.30pm on BBC1. After all, with the terrible Mrs Brown’s Boys topping the ratings for swearing a lot, then maybe that’s the new schtick? I despair.
