Marauders is another in a long line of daft Bruce Willis action flicks, most of which seem to be ho-hum (especially Extraction) but there’s always a new hope for each one that comes along.
The plot centres around an untraceable group of elite bank robbers, chased by a suicidal FBI Agent who uncovers a deeper purpose behind the robbery-homicides.
Directed by Steven C Miller, who recently made… Extraction… oh dear…, and from a script by Michael Cody and Chris Sivertson, the film also stars Christopher Meloni (I Am Wrath, Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For), Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Adrian Grenier, I thought it could be worth a watch before I knew who the director was… Still, I go into each film with an open mind… even if Extraction went straight to DVD.
Marauders is released in the US on July 1st but as of yet there’s no UK date.
