Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is coming to a cinema near you in eight months and it’s directed by Looper and Breaking Bad‘s Rian Johnson. And starring Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Harrison Ford… maybe. Then next Christmas will see the Young Han Solo movie. Then Episode IX will follow in Christmas 2019.
“But what does the title mean? What’s the significance of that red stuff round the title?”, ask the fanbois. Does it matter? You’ll find out before the year ends; can’t you wait?
And in this trailer, it looks like while Luke appeared to be the last one, could Rey have something about her, too?
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is released in the UK on December 15th 2017, although they’ll probably move it back to the Thursday (14th) like they did with The Force Awakens and Rogue One.
Also, A Tribute To Carrie Fisher has also been made available online from Lucasfilm, including behind-the-scenes footage from The Last Jedi.
PS. The Star Wars Episode IX subtitle is “Flange”.
