Aldi get their Christmas Advert in for 2015 with a limp cover version of My Favourite Things from The Sound Of Music.
Lots of companies have releases Christmas adverts online today, with some premiering on TV over the weekend instead of today, but the main advert is always going to be the puke-inducing one from John Lewis as they spend the most on them, the latest one reportedly costing £7m!
As for Aldi’s, I guess that comes second since all the others seem very pedestrian, but even this one isn’t great as the cover version sounds flatter than the flattest pancake in the world. Seriously, is this the best they could manage in a singing voice? There’s zero emotion to it!
