Amber on Pointless: Everyone’s talking about Amber!
Yes, Twitter was awash with comments on the lovely Amber (above-left), after last Thursday’s Pointless (Series 30, Episode 11, according to Digiguide), as she and her boyfriend, Dom (not me, alas) went through to the penultimate round, but as they didn’t make the final, they get to come back again.
Most men named Dom are brainy, yet her other half decided that when it came to a round about making words out of only a handful of particular letters, he’d take the easy option and go for OAR, which 78 other people also chose. However, they still made it through to the penultimate round.
So, I then expected them to come back the next day, but in their infinite wisdom, BBC1 are back on repeats!
In the meantime, I knew Amber, from Malta, reminded me of someone, and after a fair while, I remembered it’s Midori Francis (right) from Netflix’s Dash and Lily.
