Back in Time is a forthcoming documentary which celebrates 30 years of one of my favourite films of all time – Back To The Future.
I dreamed of being Marty McFly (Michael J Fox) back in the day. He was cool and managed to pick up all the women he wanted, and since I also have a middle name beginning with J, how could I go wrong? Then again, where I did NOT want to be him came when he went back in time and gained the attractions of his own mother (Lea Thompson).
Still, he had one of the most attractive girlfriends in the school in Jennifer since she was originally played by the stunning Claudia Wells. Sadly, Ms Wells was unable to continue in the sequels, and dropped out of movies for some time, because her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Her character was then played by Elisabeth Shue, but I didn’t fancy her one jot and she’s the only thing I don’t like about Parts II and III. Ms Shue is not in this documentary, either. Okay, so she wasn’t in the first film at all, but surely they touch on the sequels and so she would be included that way?
Someone else who’s not here is Crispin Glover, but then I didn’t really expect him to be since he went a bit odd.
However, those who ARE present and correct are Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Jeffrey Weissman, Adam F Goldberg, Alan Silvestri, Huey Lewis, Bob Gale and the one and only Christopher Lloyd.
Back in Time doesn’t yet have a UK or US release date but I’ve GOT to see this.
