Beyond The Lights stars the stunning Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Noni Jean, a talented young musician on the brink of super stardom struggles with the pressure of her new-found success.
It also stars Minnie Driver, Danny Glover, Aisha Hinds and Nate Parker, and looks like it’s aimed at the teen market and would have a 12A certificate, so it’s certainly not my bag at all. It’ll probably work for its target audience, though, even if it does look very predictable.
Beyond The Lights is out in the US on November 14th, but doesn’t yet have a UK release date.
